A Central NY distributor is growing and is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to become a vital part of their team! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity to work for a company using your great attention to detail!.
Great work environment with excellent benefits when hired on! Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conduct First Article Inspection on all new products and / or revised products Inspection throughout the entire manufacturing process including inspection of raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies and finished goods Ensuring appropriate action is taken when non-conforming material is found Ensuring all operators are processing or assembling material according to Work Orders Documenting all performed inspections as well as all non-conforming product found during the inspection process Other duties as assigned Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to learn how to read engineering drawings Ability to be trained to use calibrated equipment Must have the aptitude for working in a distribution / manufacturing operation, 1 year experience preferred Applicants must follow the CPS employment guidelines and be willing to comply with our drug screening policy and other pre-employment requirements.
